Do you always have to show your funds?

Not always. Your online Document Checklist tells you whether to attach financial evidence with your application. If it asks, attach it. If it does not, Home Affairs can still ask for it later, so keep it ready. Our guide to bank statements for a study visa explains what Pakistani bank evidence should show.

Can your family come with you?

Since 2 October 2026, most new student visa applicants cannot include a partner or children. Exemptions include PhD students and some government sponsored students.
